Analyze Results#
Once you have completed your KSTAR run on Galaxy (see Running_KSTAR), you will want to analyze the results. This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to do so.
First, you can do a quick inspection of your results by looking at the summary PDF files. You may also want to check the error log (in the Run Info collection) to ensure that there were no major issues during processing. Warnings don’t necessarily mean there is a problem with your results, but you should inspect them to make sure they are not indicative of a larger issue. For more details on potential warnings and errors, see our guide on troubleshooting issues.
For additional downstream analysis and visualization of your KSTAR results, you can:
Use the KSTAR plotting tools available at the ProteomeScout repository: KSTAR Plotting tool
Download your KSTAR results and analyze them in Python using the KSTAR Python package (see Analyzing_Results for more details)
Export your KSTAR results to other tools available on Galaxy for further analysis (e.g., clustering, heatmaps, etc.)
